Aerogel Felt
Unitex Aerogel Felt produced by aerogel and inorganic fiber material composited. It is a flexible thermal insulation felt suitable for medium and high temperature. Aerogel material have the world's lowest thermal conductivity performance. It is also low density, flexibility, high pressure resistant, hydrophobic, fire proof performance. At the same time, it has superior sound insulation performance. It can be replaced of such as fiberglass, asbestos, ceramic fiber, rock wool…etc. traditional insulation materials. It is widely used in aerospace, petroleum, chemical, rail transit, upmarket civil building insulation, LNG, military and other fields.
1. Thermal insulation performance is 3 to 5 times compared to traditional insulation materials, high efficiency and energy saving.
2. Very low thickness to achieve the same thermal insulation performance of traditional insulation materials, less heat loss, higher space utilization. Also saves transport cost.
3. High tensile strength and high compressive strength, resistant to harsh construction environment.
4. Excellent hydrophobic performance, more than 99%. Can be isolated to liquid water, meanwhile Water vapour is available to pass through.
